Still, in case you didn’t:
As you know, there are a lot of lotions, potions, and scrubs that promise a lot of things and exfoliate is a catch phrase among beauty product marketers. But this stuff? Totally works. Totally exfoliates. When it comes to sloughing away dead skin cells, this apricot scrub is the tops. You don’t use it every day – in fact, with my sensitive skin I only use it every two weeks – so one bottle will last ages.
It’s perfect for year round usage, although I find myself clinging to it more and more throughout the summer. Not only is it perfect for face, but it totally works wonders on elbows, knees, and feet as well. Every time I scoop a handful out, the subtle, unique scent whisks me back to ninth grade, when my mother handed me my first jar of “magic” at CVS with the words: “Here. I think you’ll like using this.”
I am not always faithful when it comes to beauty products. Junkie that I am, I tend to (ahem) get around once I use up a bottle of something. But when it comes to this apricot scrub? I am 100% monogamous.

I love this stuff, too! Sadly, they recently changed the smell, so it doesn't bring me back to high school like it used to.
Oh no! They've changed the smell? Say it ain't so. I'm still using some I bought about a year ago (see how it lasts) so I wasn't aware of the smell change.
Why fix what isn't it broken, that's what I want to know...
I know! Seriously! They changed the smell AND the packaging. On the new packaging, they even wrote "New scent! Same great formula!" It still works great, but I liked the old smell better. Sigh.
I did a ton of research online last night trying to find the "perfect" skin cleaning regime to clear up my skin. It's in great shape for about 2 weeks and then bad for 2 weeks (mainly due to hormonal changes I'm guessing).
Anyway, we just ran some errands and I picked up St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub. I used the regular stuff in high school and loved it. I'm hoping this will be a god send?! We'll see.
Have you tried the medicated kind?
