Cortaid Maximum Strength Cream
Believe it or not, it took me 24 years to discover this gem of a cream. Now that I have though, there’s no turning back. Cortaid Maximum Strength Cream is not a glamorous, hoity-toity lotion. It won’t break the bank and you’re unlikely to find a write up in the latest beauty magazines. Whether it’s tucked into my travel bag, a first aid kit, or kept in a bathroom drawer with my makeup for safe keeping, these days I am rarely without a tube of Cortaid. I use it on rashes, bug bites, and severely dry skin - the 1% hydrocortisone it contains helps stop itching almost instantly. Used sparingly, my magic Cortaid cream has even saved the delicate skin around my eyes a few times after I’ve spent too many hours basking in the summer sunshine or trekking through dry, cold winter elements. If only all lotions, potions, and significant others could be this reliable.
