EO Shower Gel (Grapefruit & Mint)

Given the choice between a bar of soap and a bottle of shower gel, I'll always opt for the latter.

In an attempt to use more environment and body friendly products, I decided to give EO's shower gel a try earlier this summer. The subtle grapefruit and mint scent - a hint of citrus with just a tinge of spearmint - is a cheery way to start the day. I do feel better about washing with an organic, paraben free product, just as I feel better about watching those soapy organic, paraben free suds slide down my bathroom drain after my shower.

I do wish this gel had more moisturizing properties though, as my skin is left feeling clean but a tad dry after use. For the $7 a bottle costs, I can't say I'll run right out and purchase another bottle the instant I've used this one up...however I wouldn't rule it out. We, at The Pink Mixer, may just sample a few of our other options first, is all.

Average Price: $7.00/8 oz.

My I humbly reccommend any Giovanni Organic Body Care products to you? Well, I'll just go ahead and do so.

I am absolutely in love with their body wash and hair conditioner (I'm not crazy about the shampoo). I'm currently using Casslfleur White Tea body washn and it's amazing (as is their Straight as Silk conditioner). Can't reccomend their products enough.

Check out their website:

It's a little over the top with their new age music and parading of products, but trust me..it's good stuff.

I appreciate that you endeavored to try a product that is paraben free. Sometimes I feel like I am the only person who cares about my shampoo, body wash, and lotion when I read everywhere people raving about products that are chock full of that stuff.

Anyways! I just wanted to recommend a product myself that I found at my local health food store. Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013NT6XK

The smell of it is amaaaaazing, in my opinion. And it's sudsy enough to feel like I'm getting clean and it doesn't feel dry.
