Sometimes, when I’m feeling restless or itching for a change, I dye my hair. I know! Wild and crazy nights at Casa de Pink Mixer!

Tease all you want, but a new shade on my mane usually placates my desire to move across the country or hitchhike to Australia or join the circus for at least three months or so, which means I usually only end up dying my hair an average of two or three times a year.

While I don’t consider myself the most knowledgeable woman on the planet when it comes to hair dye, I will say, I’ve never been anything but pleased when I’ve used Clairol’s Natural Instincts.

Personally, I opt for color #28 Nutmeg (Dark Brown). It instantly takes away any summer brassiness my naturally light brown hair gets without looking too Goth-like.
