Lululemon Astro Pant

Most likely, the first thing you'll notice about Lululemon is the price tag. For workout clothes, they are pricey. We whole-heartedly agree. And for years, we rarely even wandered into the store or their website, finding the cost too high to justify.

But then Santa asked for our Christmas wish list. Being a firm believer in the fact that gifts should be items we wouldn't normally allow ourselves to sneak into the monthly budget, we asked for a pair of Lululemon's Astro Yoga Pant.
Good old Santa delivered and our yoga world has been turned upside down - or, perhaps, downward dog as it were. It's anyone's guess as to what makes these yoga pants so much better than the cheaper versions stores like Old Navy, the Gap, and Target sell, but the thing is? They really are that much better. Could be that they come in tall sizes - which, for a 5'10" girl like myself, is much appreciated. Or it could be the fact that the material seems to hold everything - all body parts, limbs, and the like - in just a little better, a little bit tighter. Perhaps it's the way the fabric moves with you easily as you find yourself in pigeon or warrior one. Or maybe it's just that we think these pants make our bum look good.

Whatever it is, we sure do like what Lululemon is doing to their yoga pants. And while we might not be able to totally justify our own purchases anytime soon, you can bet we'll be putting another pair on our wish list come December 2012.
