OPI Nail Lacquer in Kennebunk-port

Labor day, schmabor day. We’re digging our heels in the sand regarding the unofficial end to summer, or, more aptly put, our toes.

As of late The Pink Mixer is obsessed with perfectly rounded, manicured toe nails painted in a delightful shade of red. We happen to be partial to OPI’s selection of reds, the shade Kennebunk-port in particular. Could be that we have a soft spot in our hearts for all things Maine related, or maybe, after many close but no cigar reds this one hits the nail on the head (or, err, toe so to speak).

Kennebunk-port gives our toes the perfect shade of daring, devil may care red attitude sans too much of an orange or pink hue, which means it’s also a shade we can wear up until the crisp, cool days of autumn require us to (reluctantly) put our flip flops back on the shelves for another season.

If a girl’s going to fight the end of summer kicking and screaming anyway, she might as well make sure her toes look good while she’s doing it, right?
